YEARBOOK
Sales! Sales! Sales!
During the school year students in Yearbook will be involved in a plethora of activities. Most commonly our year starts with advertisement sales. We have been doing a fairly good job with sales, but need to tighten up the ship just a bit. Now, more than ever, advertisement sales help us keep the cost of our yearbook down; also, our advertisements offer another avenue for businesses to get their products and services noticed by the general public. Thank you to all who buy advertisements to be placed in Yearbook!
After sales are wrapped up, we begin compiling photos and information as it happens in our school. Each student is assigned several pages that are their responsibility to complete. Some students work as editors and help to monitor page progression and overall issues. I serve as the final editor. We do our best to eliminate all mistakes.
Well, now we are in the middle of winter, so our yearbook sales campaign begins. Our focus each year is to sell 75 yearbooks. Our goal is to keep the yearbook cost to 35.00 dollars. This is considerably less than previous years. We want all students to be able to have a yearbook.
Do you want to be a part of something great? It is called Yearbook! Sign up now!
Thank you!
Mr. Kalmon
PS--I am adding another dimension to this class; you guessed it, we will produce a literary/art magazine that will feature staff and student writing and artwork.
I have experience producing these magazines in other schools, and believe it is time for Bruce Schools to highlight student artistic achievements.
Here are some yearbooks from years past.
